The 1.3.0 update is out now on both iPhone and Android. Most of the work this time went into one screen, the Home feed, so that's where most of this post goes too.
The Home feed has been rebuilt. News and videos now sit together in one place, in the order they came out, with the newest at the top. Open the app and everything that's happened since you last looked is right there.
Related items are grouped together too. On a show night you might get a dozen recaps of the same show from a dozen different sites. Those now collapse into one card, so one show doesn't bury everything else. Videos work the same way. When a channel uploads a batch of clips at once, they're grouped into a single card.
Wrestling companies file trademarks for new ring names, shows, and events all the time, and a filing is often the first hint of something that hasn't been announced yet. Fans have been digging through the US trademark office's records for years to find them.
The app does that digging for you now. Every day it checks for new applications filed by WWE, AEW, and TNA, and when it finds any, they show up in your Home feed.
WWE is part of TKO, and TKO is a public company, so it files its results with the SEC every quarter. Those filings are long, and they cover UFC and IMG as well as WWE.
When TKO files, your Home feed now picks out the WWE part and gives you a short summary of the key points, like how much revenue WWE brought in and how that compares to the same period last year. The summary only reports what the filing says, and every figure in it is checked against the filing itself before it appears. It won't tell you whether the numbers are good or bad, or guess where the stock is headed.
Sometimes the app showed you the wrong live events. That's fixed. Some images in the Home feed were also stretching wider than they should, and that's fixed too.
